A few weeks ago, Laurie Handlers contacted me and asked if I was interested in being interviewed on her radio show, Sex and Happiness. Since I'm quite a fan of Laurie's show, I happily accepted! I offered a few possible topics, but ultimately the one we chose was "Living and Thriving with an STI."

I have to be honest, I've been feeling a little guilty about calling this a sex blog when I don't talk about having sex that often. So since I had a pretty terrific experience last night, it seems only fair to share the hot, steamy, and hilarious (you'll see) details with you, my faithful readers. After working as a PSO for three months, I have a Pavlovian response to hearing a phone ring. I walked into the Emergency Room at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, PA on Wednesday May 1st, 2013 with lower abdominal pain.
